1 The light curtain you select needs to guard more that one opening. For example an opening in front of the operator as well as an opening on each side and back
2 Muting: is the temporary suspension of the protective function of the light curtain. This is only permitted during the non-hazardous portion on the machine cycle.
Fixed blanking: a Fixed area can be masked off, allowing a fixture or stock to protrude the sensing field.
Floating blanking: a Floating area can be masked off, allowing a fixture or stock to protrude and move within the sensing field.
Cascading: When multiple light curtains are daisy-chained together guard a single machine with several danger areas. a cascaded system produces a common set of machine safety outputs.
