	Allows personnel to quickly lock a safety interlock switch to a safe position allowing for certain types of maintenance Intended for use as an alternate control method while performing tasks that are routine, repetitive or integral to the production process (ANSI/ASSE Z244.1- 2003 section 5.4) Robust design and construction blocks all access points to the actuation mechanism of the safety interlock switch Designed to accept locks with standard shackle diameters of 5/16” or 7 mm; standard expansion devices may also be used in conjunction with the SLD The SLD series will work for designated switches with or without the optional stainless steel guide. If the optional stainless steel guide is used on a switch that is integrated with a slide bolt assembly, it will not be possible to attach a Switch Locking Device Warning: The SLD Series is intended for use as an alternative control method provided for by ANSI/ASSE Z244.1-2003 section 5.4. This device does not protect against malicious tampering.
